Gaya Hidup, Kabarterdepan.com – Samuel Vouga aka vouga asal SWISS hadir untuk menyampaikan kabar terbarunya melalui single terbaru berjudul ‘Drifting Away’. Single ini sudah hadir di DSP sejak 3 Februari 2025.
vouga (penulisan sengaja dan harus dengan lowercase atau huruf kecil), proyek musik dari Samuel Vouga, seorang penyanyi, pencipta lagu, dan produser asal Swiss yang menghabiskan sebagian besar hidupnya berpindah negara.
Seorang mantan pentolan band funk rock, yang kemudian mempelajari vokal jazz, dan lalu jatuh cinta pada musik-musik karya Prince yang mengubah karir musiknya.
Belum lama ini, vouga merilis single perdana berjudul ‘Drifting Away’ yang kental akan suasana synth-pop/rock dan sentuhan musik elektronik modern ala Prancis — bayangkan rilisan label rekaman Kitsuné yang keluar pada dekade ‘80-an.
Ide awal lagu “Drifting Away” datang pada akhir 2020, saat pandemi melanda secara global. vouga menjelaskan bahwa lagu ini diciptakan secara natural dan spontan, tanpa memusingkan hasil akhirnya. Dengan demikian, aransemen musiknya bisa benar-benar mencerminkan apa yang ada di dalam dirinya pada saat itu.
