Gaya Hidup, Kabarterdepan.com – Band britpop Yogyakarta, Dojihatori menyampaikan kabar terbaru mereka. Album terbaru Dojihatori setelah 15 tahun vakum yaitu Quarter to One telah resmi hadir di DSP pada 10 Oktober 2024 via self release.
Setelah lebih dari 15 tahun vakum, Dojihatori, unit veteran Britpop asal Yogyakarta yang digawangi oleh Yuma, Rinto, Windho, Feri akhirnya kembali dengan album penuh mereka, Quarter to One.
Album Quarter to One tetap memegang jalur musik britpop yang berakar dari band-band Inggris era 60 an hingga 2000-an, namun dengan sentuhan unik dan segar yang membedakannya dari rilisan album-album sebelumnya.
Lagu-lagu di album ini kebanyakan digubah oleh Windho dan Yuma, namun kali ini Feri sang drummer juga berkontribusi dalam penulisan lirik. Di antaranya lagu “My Oh My” yang kental garage rock ala The Kinks dan merseyside pop ala The Beatles serta lagu “Hope” yang dibalut nuansa “dreamy” dan “psikedelik”.
Dengan kesuksesan di album Dojihatori sebelumnya “It’s Too Risky Too Take a Day Off” yang berhasil masuk dalam ulasan majalah musik ternama “Rolling Stones Indonesia”, Dojihatori berharap album baru ini bisa diterima khalayak luas, pecinta musik Indonesia, musik Indie, maupun musik independent. Album Quarter to One hadir di semua DSP pada 10 Oktober 2024.
